Core Beliefs
Pregnancy and Birth are natural stages of a woman's life, not an illness.
A woman's body knows how and when to birth, the less we disturb the process, the better the outcome.
Black and indigenous women are returning to their ancestral ways of caring for themselves and their families.
All families should have access to support and quality care. Women should have a choice of where, how and with whom they birth. A midwife can support you in your decision to allow birth to flow with no or minimal interventions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to offer support and care to families who are seeking a midwife regardless of their ability to pay. A safe and beautiful birth (home birth if desired) should be the norm, not a luxury.
We aim to move away from the tendency to view natural, undisturbed birth as a commodity. We do this by advocating for freedom of birth and providing education and resources. Proceeds from our services will be directed to fund families in the United States and Dominican Republic (my homeland) who cannot afford quality care.
Credentials
I am a licensed midwife with a Registered Nurse with an Autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner and CNM license in the state of Florida. I offer 6 years of experience as a Nurse Midwife and more than 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. It is a privilege to represent a Dominican woman of color in the healing arts and to offer guidance and care to families. It is my intention to continue to use my life and professional experience as well as any gifts and skills that I have in order to serve my community.
