As an autonomous nurse practitioner, I also offer telehealth consults for basic concerns. About the Midwife Agatha
I was born in Villa Juana, a Barrio on the island of the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the united States at a very young age with my mother. I was raised mostly in the New York/New Jersey, but spent a good portion of my youth living the Dominican Republic as well. After my first child, I moved to Florida where I lived for 18 years. I have three children of my own and now reside in Georgia with my two younger ones who are now 18 and 17. I have several feline friends who who like to come around and hang out and I also have my dog Kako. Aside from spending time with pets, I enjoy spending my free time enjoying music, dancing, or creating art. I spend my free time creating some art pieces that I sometimes sell at a local artisan market in Savannah and online; I also like to seek peaceful places away from the city and close to the water.
I have have been serving the community as a nurse and community provider for over 12 years. Prior to entering the field of nursing, I was an educator both here in the United States and in the Dominican Republic.
I love to inform families on how to care for themselves and their community so that they are empowered and take control of their own health. I am passionate about preventative care in our community and about providing holistic options based on the traditions of our ancestors and ancient knowledge.
Global Care Option
This option is for moms who choose to birth at home and also want midwifery care during the prenatal period. This option includes prenatal care visits, labs and procedures, support during the birth of your baby and postpartum visits.
Prenatal Care Only Option
Visits are provided throughout the pregnancy until the birth of your baby. The prenatal care package is an option for moms who would like midwifery care, but are planning a hospital birth. It includes lab procedures and prescriptions.
Travel Birth Services
I am available to travel for birth services. Mommies who choose this option usually have a provider for prenatal care and choose us to support during birth. Contact us for more information on fees and expenses.
Regarding Payment
Payment plan options and a sliding scale are available for cash paying families. There might also the opportunity to receive reimbursement from your insurance after the birth. Please remember that a portion of your payment is directed towards helping other families have access to midwifery care.

Dutch Plus, Dutch Complete, and Dutch Hormone Testing Available.
Dutch Tests are known for providing maximum information based on urine and saliva samples, which can be more accurate than blood samples. They can be an excellent tool to make proactive decisions about your health.
